Shawn Aster

Shawn was born in Vancouver, BC, and raised by his grandfather in his late mother’s village of Gitxaala (Kitkatla). He was inspired to do art at an early age by seeing the remaining poles in his village and by his environment. Shawn’s late mother was also an artist. He always wants to learn more and improve his culture.
