Landon has been carving since 2002 but it was not until 2005 that he started to seriously pursue a career as an artist. Landon has worked with a number of artists such as Haida artist, Clarence Mills who he assisted on several large totem pole projects and initially learned to design and carve jewellery with. He has also worked on masks, and design with Tsimshian artist, Phil Gray and Haida artist, Jay Simeon who both have been a source of inspiration and guidance. In early 2008, Landon graduated from the inaugural Northwest Coast Jewellery Arts Program at Native Education College under the teachings of Kwakwaka’wakw/Haida artist Dan Wallace.
