A chief wears a frontlet to show their status within a ceremonial gathering. It depicts the crests of the clan as well as the chieftain. This eagle frontlet is garneted with abalone which represents wealth and rank. The noble and wise eagle is perched on a cedar branch. He watches a school of salmon playing in the riverside. His powerful stare embodies strength. His wings ready for flight.
