AAAHH, Mother Nature is a beautiful thing to watch! Ever since I was a kid and we had TV, there have been programs where they showed nature in the raw … meaning animals living the life they were given. I have watched many of these types of programs, and when it comes to those that show the Owl, it is so absolutely amazing to watch them in the hunt. Because of their silence in flight, they are able to swoop in on their target and catch the prey without them suspecting a thing. The US military has even studied owls — and came up with the Stealth Bomber that is radar silent.
I was looking to have a nice plump little mouse sitting on top of the snow sniffing for food…in the background we have the Owl, who was just moments ago doing the exact same thing — only to his way of thinking, it is the plump little mouse that is being targeted! For the little mouse, you could say, “times were good”.
