Several pieces in this exhibition are listed as Not For Sale (NFS) due to prior agreements made by the students to have their pieces repatriated back to their band in exchange for tuition and the opportunity to attend the Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art.
Jacqueline R. McNeil
Jacqueline is from the Killerwhale clan, born and raised in Kitselas, near Terrace, BC. She completed a four-year course with Vernon Stephens at Gitanmaax School of Northwest Coast Indian Art in 2003. Jacqueline attended the Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art year-end show in 2007 and that is when she knew she had to apply for the course. It has been a great opportunity for her.
