“This little owl has the most character of any owl I have made to date. I could always see an owl in this piece of stone and I knew that its head would be tilted. I wanted his wings to be up and out as if to make the statement “I don’t know.” Kind of like how we get when we either don’t know the answer—or don’t want the other person to know that we know but don’t want to let on we know!”
