“The Mountain here is the circular rim and within the circle and rim are the four directions with the eyes of nature. The silver is the lakes and rivers. The green and black are the mountain and the rock. The Mountain Chief’s domain is the mountain and out of the doorway the Earthquake can make an appearance to remind us we are the smallest point of this universe. He is our 11th relative. This is one of nature’s doorways and we are closely connected as Hesquiaht Ehattesaht people.”
Pulling the cords at the base will rotate the center disc to reveal either the Mountain Chief [green] or Earthquake [red].
