Solo retrospective exhibition and book release featuring a comprehensive collection of limited edition prints created by Coast Salish artist Susan Point from 1981 to present.
Susan Point has been a prolific graphic artist and has released several limited prints each year for 30+ years. She has explored both traditional Coast Salish design and addressed contemporary issues in her work: these include environmental concerns, the contemporary role of women within the culture, and cultural preservation, while using a variety of printmaking techniques.
A book documenting 169 of the prints produced to date is now available both as a signed limited-edition bound hardcover and an attractive paperback edition.
The gallery invites you to view this landmark exhibition and to meet one of the great living treasures of Northwest Coast art.
“My prints are my fingerprints; they reveal my thoughts and feelings on paper.”
