Legend of the Giant:
“Long ago an Inuk was captured while ice-fishing by a giant shaman. The giant carried the man on his back to have him as food to eat. The man being carried pretended to be dead but kept an eye open for his opportunity to escape. The giant lived on the land with his bad wife and two children. After walking all day with his load, the giant stopped to rest and fell asleep through exhaustion. While the giant slept and his wife was out looking for wood, the man escaped and killed the giant with his big axe.”
