22. “vertigo! what vertigo?”

Months ago, some friends and I were talking about vertigo—and Alfred Hitchcock’s movies. While realizing that this is a very serious problem for some people, I still had to add a little humour to the situation! Vertigo is something I haven’t really experienced, other than the odd time that you have one too many drinks. The eyes had to give the impression of unease—one looks straight ahead and the other looks down slightly, just enough to throw everything off kilter and to express the dizziness—just like life can be! You just have to look at the lighter side of life if you want to get through.
