“Another piece inspired by the story of Raven’s abduction of the sun from Chief Gray Eagle’s realm and releasing it to its present position in the sky. I enjoyed the time spent on this sculpture; it provided me an opportunity to be a little different in the interpretation.”
Raven Releases the Sun reflects both the fleeting moment of possession and his observations of the world since the arrival of light.
