Blue Moon of Transformation
The elder sibling moon, which is the 13th moon, brings in the new harvest seasons after our traditional New Year in December. We look forward to the arrival of the herring, geese and the return of other migratory species. The changes and transformations in nature prepare us for the bountiful harvests that each season brings. The elder sibling transformation provides all this for us but, it is our responsibility to make sure we only take what we need and do not condemn anything to extinction.
