Living on the Land

Nancy was born at Nowshak Camp and raised in Baker Lake. She began carving in the late 1960s. She has worked at print shops in Toronto, Cape Dorset, and at the Sanavik printshop in Baker Lake. Nancy’s husband is Baker Lake sculptor, print-artist, and print-maker Thomas Sivuraq.
