David Iqaqrialu is a former territorial level politician from Nunavut, Canada. He served as a member of the Nunavut Legislature from 1999 until 2004. “Political History: The impish, extroverted David Iqaqrialu won this seat handily [42.8%] in 1999, upsetting incumbent Tommy Enuaraq. With all three candidates hailing from Clyde River, Iqaqrialu’s secret was shoring up the Qikiqtarjuaq vote: He won nearly 60 per cent of the ballots in that community.” In 2004 David Iqaqrialu placed sixth out of seven candidates with only 10.97% of the popular vote.
David’s parents, Appitaq and Mary, are both carvers.
