Ashley Johnson

Ashley Johnson was born in Terrace B.C. on February 21, 1995. Ashley grew up in Kitwanga and now lives in Terrace for schooling. Ashley tribe is Gitxsan she is from the Fireweed clan. She started First Nation’s Art in grade nine in high school. She is twenty years old. Ashley attends the Freda Diesing at the North West Community College in Terrace B.C. She successfully finished her first year, returning for her second year next year. Ashley is wanting to return to her community to become a First Nation’s Teacher. Ashley is following her grandfather’s Victor Mowatt footsteps on being a carver and painter.
