Reuben Mack was born in 1994. He is from Bella Coola, British Columbia. Reuben started at an early age watching his father, Alvin Mack, carve, paint, and work, on jewellery. His interest continued with a summer program at Emily Carr and ultimately through joining the Freda Diesing Program.
Reuben is interested in carving and designing in the Nuxalk tradition. He has previously exhibited at the Concourse Gallery at Emily Carr University. Reuben has been influenced by the movement of his traditional dances.
